GAR stands for Gap Analysis Record. It is a compilation of everything related to one particular gap analysis work. It can also be called gap analysis work pack.
It includes:
General details – title, unique number, description of what is gap analysed (Location) against what (Standard), etc.
Planning details – work status, target dates, actual dates, man hours, resources, etc.
Gap analysis statistics – number of gaps, risks, actions, deviations, % compliance
Compliance Records – all records against directives and requirements (e.g. comments on gaps, justification of compliance, etc.)
References/Appendices – evidence documents, images
